Reminder and Challenge for Friday, December 13, 2024

OPEN DOOR

This week, Pastor Heath reminded us about The Open Door—an invitation to reflect Christ's love to a secular world during this busy season. As we navigate holiday parties, Winter Carnivals, and Christmas preparations, we face the challenge of living out our faith in actions and words.

The Challenge:
Pray for open doors. Just as Paul urged in Colossians 4:2-6, let’s commit to evangelistic prayer. Ask God to create opportunities for meaningful conversations about the mystery of Christ.

The Reminder:
Walk in wisdom. Let your actions reflect compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and grace. Use your words to season conversations with hope and joy, making Christ’s message irresistible.

Let’s ask God to open doors this Christmas season and step into them with love and purpose. Who can you pray for or encourage today?

“Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt...” — Colossians 4:5-6
